Great place with lots of potential. However the service was non an experience. It was so bad. I was wanting to buy something. I waited and waited while the staff chatted out the back of the kitchen. So I left the stuff on the counter and went to the bathroom. The bathroom was really bad!! Dirty with paper and water of God only knows what all over the floor. Not a good look for a food processor in New Zealand. I came back out and waited some more to tell them about the bathrooms. I was not going to buy anything after seeing the bathrooms that really put me off. Eventually I gave up and walked out. I think they were more interested in the Chinese labeled product currently being run on the factory production line for what looked like small UHT milk. However I am glad I am not receiving it!!

Nice setting. The lunch food was very average. Had a steak sandwich with average steak, okay ciabatta and chips with very plain leafy salad. The best part was the tiny morsel if blue cheese.

What a fantastic place to stop and have coffee and food. Thank you for the delicious breakfast! You can also buy their cheeses and if you are travelling they have little chilly bins to take them home in! A great range of menu and cabinet food.

The menu food was excellent. A very good variety of fresh food. The cheese tasting board encouraged me to buy something different and delicious. Washed Rouge. Fantastic. Staff are friendly and engaging.

I stopped here on way back from Auckland.
    Ordered rare roast beef sandwich.
It was terrible, 90% of the meat was thick fat, uneatable
    very disappointing
I will not be stopping here again.

They've been a regular pit stop for long journeys to Auckland and then back home. Their coffee is always consistent, and although I didn't get a scone. The last time I had it with cream and jam, it did not disappoint. Car parking has always been easy and their toilets are clean - plus they haven't run out of soap or paper towels. Very much appreciated when you're travelling on the road!

Really Disappointed. As we are from Perth Western Australia we visited Auckland, Rotorua and The Coromandel.
On way from Rotorua to Coromandel we stopped in here hoping to buy some delicious New Zealand made cheeses as we are cheese fans.
A sign clearly saying if you would like to taste our samples please ask our friendly staff. Which we did only to be told they were too busy! They were serving the coffee shop and tild us we would have to wait until someone was free.asked how long, was told 10 or 15 mins? Really!! .
Well if they are too busy to serve tourists at the cheese factory then we would take our business somewhere else .
    Extremely disappointed!
