Best soupy dumplings in town. "Xiaolong" and "Shengjian" are proper Shanghai standard :)

Solid soup dumplings and pan fried dumplings here. Nothing to complain about

Jolin Shanghai is more high-end compared to the typical eateries you'd find on the other end of Dominion Road. It's the only place I know of in Auckland that does sheng jian bao - crisp bottoms and bursting with flavour. Their xiao long bao is also pretty good.

I'm vegetarian and this actually catered pretty well and we had done really good (although not too healthy food).

This is a pretty famous franchise in China, and the food was pretty authentic.
We were allowed to BYO beer as well! Although, it was weird that they didn't have any ice for drinks.
The staff was nice and overall it was a very pleasant dining experience!
