  I don't usually write reviews. But after my horrible rude experience I couldn't not.
  
  Upon entering, the young tall curly man was extremely rude.
  
  I asked what was in the vegetarian sandwich and I was responded with.
  
  "Veges duh"
  
  and I said if you don't want to tell me what's in it I won't buy anything.
  
  He responded with
  "Cya then"
  
  I'm sure if the owners knew how rude this guy was they would be really upset.
  
  I own my own business and what I experienced at hot Mama's was horrible service.
  
  STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

  We didn't expect this: a fantastic little restaurant with loving, personal service and the food just blew us away! Gourmet food to die for (worth 6 stars, if you ask me!) and the prices are VERY reasonable. If this was located in Wellington they would have queues from the station to Courtney Place :-)

  Great cafe! warm service and a cute little garden courtyard to enjoy our delicious coffees from.

  Had a Kiwi special. Steak,2 eggs , salad and fries which was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beer is not bad either!
