An amazing place for petrolheads but also a great visit for those with only a passing interest in things automotive. The museum has an ever changing display of vehicles and motor racing history and the opportunity to be driven around the track in various vehicles, at speed, is an added bonus. There is also the option of self driving race cars, go karts and a visit to the jurassic park area for families is welcome.

Collection of beautiful cars, Classics to the Latest. Allow at least 90 minutes. Cafe overlooking the Motor Track. Good selection of food and beverages. Wheelchair accessible. If you are a motor enthusiast you can pay to take drive around the track in one of their cars.

Top class. Exceeded all expectations. A must-visit for any motor sport enthusiast. Every biography worth reading. A shame we missed the McLaren - was looking forward to it.

What a great day out. Drove down from Christchurch for a drive of the Radical. Missed out in November last year as it was rained off. Met Jeff my instructor who took me through the routine and instructed me during the drive. What a Top Bloke. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience as I could have stayed in the car for another 10 laps. Over all too soon. A big thanks to Jeff and the staff at Highlands, they were superb hosts and spoilt me rotten. Thanks again guys and will see you in November for the Highlands 501.

A few years ago I splashed out and did the Porshe GT3 hotlap and self drive combo for a birthday, money well spent on a fantastic experience. The Go Kart track here is one of the best in NZ and I try to fit in at least one session when I'm down this way.

Great track with ample views of the circuit. Kids attractions are pretty cool and you can experience the track in a number of sports cars available for hire

The dinosaur ride was amazing for kids. Ends in amazing park. All the other attractions are a petrol head dream.
