We have a family pass and end up going to the zoo most weekends. The keepers are friendly and the kids enjoy listening to them. Not too big and the saved energy gets used up at the play ground after our walk.

A great place to visit, you get closer to the animals here than other zoos, but in a safe way. Well set out, and well run.

Today we took our 2 grand daughters to the zoo. A lot of people there as a fine day in the school holidays. It is a fantastic zoo with easy to walk paths and plenty of animals to see. So many wonderful birds as well. We'll worth the effort to drive from home in Te Aroha. We has lunch in the cafe and later an ice cream. Great service from the ladies there. A great experience at a great zoo!

We were super lucky to see not only animals but the cherry trees planted in the zoo. Very busy on a weekend so can be tricky to find a parking. But overall it's a great experience on a sunny day!

Hired a push chair for our little man. Nan and Poppa came and we had a great family afternoon out. Will have plenty of photos and stories to remind him and chat over in the future. Thanks!

okay so me and my grandma have been about 20 times now and i cant wait to go back. Its a nice clean safe place for all the animals and people. I will hope everyone can go. it not to big so you forget what the first animal was but not small. and maybe stairing at the bob cat for like a half is a bit long. you can easy get round it in like 2 hours if racing but it takes us like 5.

Really beautiful zoo, well laid out, loads to see and do, zoo staff are lovely and are more than happy to chat about all the creatures big and small. Cafe could use some more variety and healthy snacks though. Huge kids playground, a must do if you are in Hamilton

Well worth it good price I would give it a 5 definitely deserves it but compared to Auckland Zoo it's a 4.

Great little zoo; large enclosures in a very nice set-up. Love the rainforest track and how it integrated the animals. More a composition of flora and fauna than your usual exhibition of animals. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend to visit when coming for a trip to Hamilton; kids will love that zoo.

Lovely park-like grounds and a good variety of animals exhibited make this a place to be visited. Take your picnic lunch or buy there from a fairly ordinary cafe. It's easy to find from Hamilton. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'll be back there!
