Great hostel, very nice rooms, with warm beds, free towels and clean bathrooms. There was always freshly baked scones in the hangout room, and the people working there was super friendly!

The Haka Lodges are some of the best hostels in NZ, and this one was no exception. The facilities are really quite good for hostel standards.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. Will be booking again in future. Clean facilities. A good wee drive from town but that is reflected in the price you pay (good value).

Best hostel we have stayed in since we arrived in NZ a couple of months ago. Rooms are immaculate, bed comfortable. Shower areas are modern and spotlessly clean. Good kitchen, large lounge with new comfortable sofas, good plasma TV with sky sports! Staff very relaxed and friendly. Definitely worth booking if in Christchurch.
