Decent size and good cleanliness. Everything is provided, you just need to bring your things and they provide linen, towel, entertainment and beverages complimentary.

Good location for seeing Christchurch. Near lots of restaurant and shopping options as well. We did not take advantage of its closeness to the Park due to weather.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Argyle on the Park for a period of 9 weeks. I was commuting each day from the motel to Christchurch hospital to be with my son who was receiving ongoing specialist care as an inpatient. Lena and Peter Borodin, the owners of Argyle on the Park could not have been more welcoming. They, especially Lena, knew my stay with them was at times extremely stressful but they did everything possible to make my stay comfortable. Returning to the motel on cold evenings, Lena would make sure the heat pump was on making it cosy. She helped in anyway possible even doing my laundry for me at times and checking in with me when she knew I was going through stressful times with my very ill son. She listened to my woes and sat with me at times. Lena and Peter are fantastic hosts and always acted on any queries immediately. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious and I would stay there again over anything else if I had to return to Christchurch. Lena was so kind and lovely, she even made me a few meals. Miss my new friend Lena. x

No-frills, reasonably priced motel across the street from the park. Reception was very friendly. We were given a huge family style room with a separate bedroom that we didn't need. The room, while quite dated, was very spacious with a sitting area and kitchenette, and it was very clean and comfortable. Great location walking distance to plenty of restaurants.
