Possibly the best lunch I've had in a while.
The roast chicken made the whole meal; incredibly well made and seasoned.
Other dishes such as the pork terrine, pork cheeks, roasted vegetables, cauliflower grain and blue cod ciopinno were great as well.
But that chicken. So good.
Personally, the B95 Chardonnay was well matched, as well as the recommended pinot noir.response / report this review -

Great staff beautiful place. Food is over done sometimes less is more blue cod wrecked by too much salsa clams weren't open. The mussel was good though.

If you're going to do a winery tour, this would be the one to go to. The wine cave is amazingly unique and a very fun place to do some wine tasting. Goes without saying that the wine is lovely and the harvest platter was well worth the money paid for it. Tour was insightful and very interesting. However, I would suggest going during the summer, to see the grapes in full.

Thoroughly enjoyed a Harvest Platter and a glass of Pinot Noir with my daughter. The food was so tasty. The staff were really efficient and helpful. Nice and light interior.

One of my favourite winery experiences in Queenstown - magical experience in the wine cave for tasting. The cheesery had good cheese picnic options which you can taste and the chocolate and gift shop, restaurant is limited in menu but great food and way to experience some extra wine after tastings :)
Get it delivered to Sydney every few months and it's worth it!!response / report this review -

Visited as part of a wine tour, were shown around the cave and had a nice selection of wines to try (as well as some small samples of cheese). Guide was very knowledgeable about the wine and found the tour interesting. Pinot noir was so good. Setting in the valley is gorgeous

Very disappointed to see the wines are more expensive at the property than in shops (same wine, same year, same name, same vineyard, same same).
The entry level wines are not so good, especially the ones they make you taste in their cave tour (another disappointment - a tour guided by someone that has no knowledge into winemaking).
The single vineyards and their top level wines are excellent, you will need to pay 15 to 25 dollars more if you want to have a taste.
The cheese shop is very expensive. We bought 2 cheeses and a baguette to take home and we had to pay as much as we paid for a cheese board for two in a restaurant (same amount of cheese and some extras on the restaurant board).response / report this review -

ok but the restaurant food is very overpriced for what it is. my fish/seafood stew today had more potato than fish in it, and the same with the octopus salad. wouldnt go back.

The wines and restaurant are actually pretty good but they prioritise their wine and cave tours too much, it's a bit of a tourist trap. Most other wineries talk to you about the wine during the tasting, they just serve you the drinks and hand you a card with descriptive blurbs. The cave is cool but charging people $18 to see where you store your wine is pretty silly. This is free at most other wineries

Very patience master of wine introducing their selection of wine available. Must visit their winery caves - worth every penny! 🍷🍷🍷 They have outdoor seating and cheese shop too.. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
