We were here last night, my husband had a steak, which he was very happy with, I had the Grilled salmon, or should I say Rice and salmon, the manu said salmon with sweetcorn and bacon salsa, jasmine rice. What came was a plate of rice with sweetcorn and bacon mixed in it, a small place of salmon,(which was nicely cooked) and a grilled tomatoes. the rice completely overwhelmed the meal.which made the meal very dry. Fortunately last night was 2 for 1 meals, because my meal was certainly not worth $32.

This place used to be great when it first opened and the food was average.
I've lived overseas for the last 3 years and have moved back to Wellington and went to gasworks for a wine and some nibbles and i was horrified how downhill this place had got. It was like a ghost town.. needs lots of love

Food was OK but not worth the price. They got the order wrong twice. It shouldn't have been hard - it was a lunch for two and we ordered exactly the same thing but out came two different meals. Drinks order was also wrong. Disappointing, as the staff were otherwise good.

Been here a few times and generally average. Food is ok if a little pricey for the quality. Outdoor area is pretty good for a drink but, that's about it. Beer range is pretty good.

Took the kids for a meal and a bit disappointed to be honest. The $22 cheeseburger and fries was tasty but small - my 9 year old son polished one off so if your an adult with a decent appetite you'll need more. So poor value for that. Kids meals were a bit better. Decor is pretty slap dash. Staff were friendly and helpful.

    Fairly good food, decent range.
Just needs to be a bit brighter lit to be a perfect restaurant.

Good food, pub like atmosphere with dinning tables at back. Clean and friendly. OK place to bring your children for dinner.

The food is amazing, so yum, staff were nice. We did not have a booking on a busy night but they still were able to find us a table. Nothing was a problem. Must visit place

Great experience with good food! After reading the reviews on here, I was worried that we may be disappointed, but we were pleasantly surprised. On a Monday night, there were very few people there, kids ate free (a great value) and the service was awesome. The meals were good, and I can't say enough about how fantastic the cheesy curry fries were. I'd eat those as a meal by themselves! The figgy cake desert was great as well. Overall, great experience. It is expensive, so be prepared, but their specials each day help make it worth while.
