Deeply suspicious of some of the negative comments here but can only offer my own experiences. My 25 year old car broke down on a Saturday morning & being in desperate need of a car for the weekend, Gary Prohm automotive gave me a courtesy car without me even being a customer. They fixed my car (was a bit of a major) & fixed the oil leaks that my old mechanic seemingly was never able to fix. Have been with them ever since for around the last 5 years & they have always been courteous & helpful. Very professional & highly recommended.

it is true what people say ,I have never been so poorly treated as a customer ,the lady behind the counter should quite clearly go back to her job at the bakery! the mechanics if they are mechanics are very rude and slow, the brakes I had done were so over priced ,I found this out when I rang around other places for quotes. I will be telling all my family and friends to avoid this place. how in the world can they be AA approved !

If you want great customer service DONT go to Gary Prohm, the man who I asked to look under my car and asses what was wrong with it, is a grumpy old man who had no interest in helping me because in his words 'I haven't had a break since 7.30am and need a sandwich' OMG in this day and age absolutely shocking! I then took my car to Paul Stockman motors who were AMAZING, held out an umbrella for me in the rain, immediately looked under my car and booked me in for a repair with a loan car, no hassle, friendly and really helpful, so if you want great service at a great price go to Paul Stockman, avoid Gary Prohm at all costs!

Great staff, great work, great price and even discounts. We came there, expecting to be without a car for 2 days or so. However, after a warm welcome and some advice, they took our car in, offered us a courtesy car until the necessary repairs were done, and even managed to get it all done in one day! (other mechanic estimated 2-3)

Just took my car in for a WOF and bronze service - great experience! I'm intrigued with the two negative reviews on this place I've been bringing my car here for a couple of years and have nothing but good things to say.
The WOF was $39, and the service was $180 as listed on their website. There were no hidden extras, and the people I dealt with at the front desk were helpful and friendly.

Gary and the team are awesome. I needed an urgent repair around Christmas, they came to the plate and offered an excellent service to get me back on the road in a nik of time. Thanks a lot team.
