We were seated in a very embarrassing situation, and when staff were approached no solution was offered, nor a refund for incomplete meal. The food seemed to be OK, but we had only just begun our meal. We left.

Good value for money. Very basic food and drink you could get at most takeaway places. Roast was overcooked and flavorless, probably because it was cut and left resting in a couple of cm of water. Nice deserts though.

Fantastic smorgasbord at the on site restaurant. Great variety.
The wifi connection did work at all which was dissapointing.

Don't believe the 5 star reviews - the buffet is large but a lot of it isn't the best. It's 'editable' but you sort of need to be picky what you have if you want a 'good' meal.
Their desert range lets them down and while the price of entry is arguably reasonable for a buffet ($28 ish) the drinks prices is pretty ridiculous.
$5.90 for a single fill of a glass of coke? That's almost $18 for 3 drinks on top of your $84 ish entry price for 3 people.
I'd say you can do better if you're going out for dinner in Christchurch!response / report this review -

Good place to take young fussy eaters and older people who don't want much because they can pick their own food.
Also great for big mixed groups.

Clean rooms, good upkeep, constantly redecorating etc. Wonderful staff. Good location.
