An absulate must if you live in a big city and want to experience the complete opposite!
The farm track (suitable for all vehicles) leads past high country station buildings and past a few Merino sheep to an area on the farm perfectly positioned to get endless views of the Mackenzie Basin. Once there you notice how well the 'off grid' Skyscape building blends into the surrounding landscape. The whole building is dug in a little bit with half the building having an earth/grass roof whilst the other half has a spectacular glass roof. Obviously designed to be able to watch the night sky from your bed (which is cunningly designed to be at ground level) it is one of the best locations in the world to see the milky way and other wonders of the night sky. We were lucky enough to see the full Milky Way, Jupiter and a few shooting stars!!!
This so much more than a nights accommodation - it is the full experience. Well done Bridget and Bevan for thinking outside of the square and building this.response / report this review -

Stunning location and unique building! You want to lie in the bed and see a special starry sky with the milky way - then this is the perfect accommodation!
