We enjoyed it so much the first night, we came back the night after for more. The space is inviting and warm, the seafood was delicious as advertised. Service and staff are fantastic. Fleur is full of personality - quick with a smile and a glint in her eye.

Fresh seafood. Friendly staff and the famous owner, Fleur, is always there to catch up with you and sharing about her cooking skill!!
Great view and you may see sea seals sometimes!! Highly recommend!!

It's hard to fault this place. Beautiful well kept building with a view, great service oh and then there's the food. It's fresh, well made and delicious.
The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because we would have loved an entrée menu or a bigger sides menu to order more seafood on the side.

Interesting place, definitely worth a visit. We only had coffee and cake which was good. Staff are really friendly. The place is a restaurant and the menu had some interesting options.

Superb food and wonderful service. We felt like special visitors as all wait staff and Fleur took time to make us feel welcome and had an infectious enthusiasm for the food and place. So much more than just a restaurantwe felt like locals.

Second visit. Recommend booking or arriving early. Fleur is friendly and the best hostess. The food is delicious and moreish. Go with an appetite. The views are spectacular and fascinating sculptures and artwork to look at.

I have them 4 starts because they will always getting better even it's have already on the top of my experiences. The view is awesome and the food is very fresh. I would recommend friends here if they come to visit moeraki boulder!!

Beautiful setting inside and outside (on a sunny day). Owner and staff were attentive and let me in as soon as they saw me. Wait staff gave me the menu when I asked for it on my way in. Not a cheap restaurant to eat in but very nice on those special occasions. Worth every dollar spent.

Granted this is a fish restaurant and we are vegetarian. But the website said that it caters for vegetarians and vegans, so we rang ahead just to check. Made a reservation and were looking forward to it.

Well we got nothing but attitude.

We were rudely told we should have called ahead if we were vegetarian, explaining that we DID didn't even qualify for an apology. They checked with the chef for options and came back with a few that sounded OK. Then a second waiter came to take the order and seemed disgusted when we tried to order the advised options.

He then snatched away the menus and threw them to the side while asking if I wanted a drink. I retrieved the drink menu and asked for some advice on two wines and again got a poor response. He left. My wife and I looked at each other, gathered our things, went down stairs and canceled the order and left.
We then drive 40min north to the Riverstone Kitchen and had an AMAZING meal and visit there with lovely friendly staff. Needless to say we'll NEVER visit Fleurs or recommend it to anyone ever again. Very disappointed.

Freshest fish around. Not the cheapest by any means. But that is because it is sourced locally. When we sat down I think some baulked at the prices. The serves are decent in size. For the location and the local produce, support for the local economy, its worth it.

Fleur's Place came highly recommended to us and we had to book a week in advance to ensure we could get a table. The food was amazing, some of the best seafood I've ever eaten. Highly recommended.

A cold rainy Wednesday morning in October Fleurs Place provided a warm haven of genuine rustic charm overlooking the bay. Service was courteous and efficient, our vegan risotto was of generous proportion and delicious it took a while to arrive which was a good omen, fresh and well worth the wait. If the restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived, it was full of diners by the time we left. What a lovely experience!
