I wish there was a way to give this place 10 stars. Staff are amazing. Good is even better. Literally travelled here from Auckland because we had a hankering for this 3 weeks ago. Please open one in Auckland!

Crowded place. Better reserve early. The ribs is not as delicious as it's too dry to my liking and a bit hard. Need to order one meal per person. Overpriced salad and butter rice though.

Awesome! Dined Saturday 14 October - 2 adults with 2 kids (3 years old).
Young waitress called Anne? Absolutely lovely, very accomodating, friendly and seemed as if she enjoyed her job. She was accomodating and interactive with my children, which always helps! Food was fantastic! Everything was delicious and no complaints at all. Really good vibe and fun to see the chefs/ kitchen staff working like a well oiled machine.
Definitely worth booking a table as place was packed, wish we weren't going home tomorrow as we would be going back for sure. Good job guys!response / report this review -

Ambience was good.
Staff friendly but service needs improvement - don't let your customer wait longer than 30min for their meal - food was good enjoyed it very much - give a choice with the surf and turf by adding calamari as an option and dont be selfish with the surf- also add some salads to the meal if it is costing your clientele $43 for it. We ordered the chicken wings for an entree which were amazing! For the main we ordered the pork ribs which were tasteless considering the amount of sauce that was slapped onto them. I do not recommend ordering the ribs, considering their price my expectations were much higher!

Hands down delicious food! Ordered the beef fillet combo and was served the best steak I've had in my life (the mushroom sauce on the side wasn't my cup of tea, but the dish didn't need it)! Tried my mates ribs which were just amazing! Staff were friendly but hard to get their attention sometimes, but it was such a busy night for them.
We did have to ask for the lemon water bowl to clean our hands with after the ribs however.
Prices are quite high but you get what you pay for- and that's delicious food.

Amazing food. I really love the steak salad and the mushroom sauce is the best ever. The restaurant is very busy so you really need to book in advance or wait for a while. Must try the Gingerbread man cocktail or any other as those guys do a great job at the bar.
Be aware that the others take a little while.

We really enjoyed our dinner here, the staff was friendly and answered all our questions. Food was deliver quick and accurately. Atmosphere was cozy and casual.
Had the rib-eye and full rack and everything was great. Steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned very well, ribs were tender and juicy. Prices were very reasonable as well.

Great food. We had the steak and ribs. Half a rack is enough for one person. Mushroom sauce is great. Nice atmosphere. Dessert was the bestMars Brulee.

Our party of four all ordered the ribs and chips, and each of us loved it! A more hearty and delicious meal has rarely come across my path for that price (NZ$16 at time of writing).
We were lucky to get a table without booking, and it was busy.
The staff were good, and we felt the food came in a timely fashion.

We, a group of 5, came for lunch to enjoy the ribs there. We were seated immediately but had to wait forever for the waitress to come. When she finally came she greeted us with "next on my list" and took our orders. One of our ordered drinks never arrived, the others and the food were served by the kitchen staff.
We never received water to wash our hands after eating ribs, and after asking for it at the bar, we got one small bowl for all of us. The best part of our lunch, however, was when we paid. The waitstaff didnt bat an eye at us, simply handing us the bill while picking meat from his teeth with his fingers. Simply disgusting and not appropriate in any restaurant, let alone a more expensive one!

Great service with amazing food.
Rattle snake sauce comes highly recommended as well as the meat platter. Recommended to go when hungry. They know how to dish up a good sized meal!!

We were a group of four and got the full rack of ribs as this is what they are so famous for as well as the mix platter for two which is a selection of sausages, ribs, chicken and steak. The ribs were definitely our favourite with the meat falling off the bones and finger licking sauce. The sauce on the chicken was too spicy for my group but the chicken itself was nice and tender. To avoid disappointment definitely make reservations ahead of time. This can be done through their website and just remember that you'll receive a reminder email on the day of your booking to reply and confirm your booking. You might want to check your junk mail as this is where I found mine.
