We went for the tasting. Server was good although a little shy with the pouring. Only one person doing the tastings so made our experience a bit boring as she was going back and forth. The wine was okay. 6 wines to taste and $5 pp or fee waived if you spend over $20. Must be a NZ thing because we have never payed to taste a few drops of wine before.

Aesthetically one of the most fabulous vineyards in the Hawkes Bay. Food is high class as is the wine. Suggest you do a tasting and then sit outside with a glass of your favourite wine. I absolutely adore their 'Rania' desert wine.

P.S. they also have a very cool underground wine cellar & library

Elephant Hill is a gorgeous location. We bought their Pinot Noir. Would have loved to stay for lunch. The bathrooms were really nice too

Visitors are treated to an inventive menu, paired with a glorious view. Being a winery, there's no lack of fine wines either. Excellent value, considering the quality of the food and impeccable service.
