NOT safe for allergy families despite multiple reassurances. Initially friendly service quickly disappeared as the mistakes began. Despite repeated checks dietary requirements were served incorrectly and wait staff then blamed the victim, who had asked REPEATEDLY. Meals were not served together (some had finished before others were served). Some items (fruit salad, for example) were not served until asked for THREE times. If we had been informed that to get dairy free we had to also have gluten free pancakes we would have chosen differently as gluten free is not that pleasant if you're not used to it. We now have allergy reactions to deal with thanks to this subpar service.

Disappointed! Very American style, with great service, but I don't know why you would go here when there are so many incredible places to eat breakfast in Christchurch. Walk 300m around the corner to Park Ranger Cafe instead!

Average breakfast dining experience. Most items on the menu are cliché and easy to replicate at home. They need to look at what Melbourne is doing to make this place more exciting. Service is great but the queue can be long during Sunday brunch hours.

I was hoping for a really great North American-style breakfast but instead got mediocre food and insanely slow service. Forgot half my meal and asked three times. Doubt I'll be heading back any time soon.

Came for brunch with a few friends.
Staff were super friendly and the service was great, food was good too!
There is a little wait for the food but that's because they prepare everything from scratch.
It can get busy so if you're coming at peak times a reservation is recommended.response / report this review -

My 1st time ever. And I loved it there. It was humming. It was constantly full of happy customers. My friend and me sat for 2 hours and watched tablefulls of people. Food was great. Atmosphere was great. You can just turn up. But you most probably will have to wait a while in the reception waiting area. But I suggest booking ahead.
