Cheap hostel with a fantastic and panoramic view through the alps and the sea! We had a warmhearted welcome there. Specials are free wifi and the free hot pool in the ggarden. Very clean toilets, showers and kitchen. One of the best hostels we stayed during our trip!

Nice and clean hostel with great view on the mountains. This was my second hostel in New Zealand and one of those which comes first to my mind when I'm thinking back to when I visited that country. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge was very cozy.

My partner and I enjoyed our 3 night's stay at Dolphin Lodge. The hostess Helen was very helpful and informative about things to do and see in Kaikoura. Helen even had fishing rods for us to hire so we could go fishing of the wharf. Thank you Helen for a special stay. We will take good memories back to Melbourne.
