You can't go wrong if you visiting, if the blonde lady is brisk don't get offended, just enjoy the great atmosphere, wine and food as it's a great place. But she's should realise the locals in the lean months & not so good times kept her ticking away when things are slow. If she warmed up a bit and valued her local market a little more she might be surprised what a difference it would make to her turn over. Just saying

Such a delicious meal! We ordered the balsamic glazed chorizo, haloumi and tempura cauliflower which were all amazing and the local wines were equally as good. After the tapas style meal we enjoyed the hazelnut meringue and Creme brulee both delish! Would totally recommend.

Exciting, surprising, interesting - great food! The cooking here would not be out of place in a hip new joint in Sydney or Tokyo but it still has a relaxed kiwi feel. Will be straight back here next time I'm in Hawkes Bay.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff & food was great. Three of us shared four dishes & then two desserts. Definitely recommend!

Food was good but service was borderline neglectful. Our existence was only acknowledged once, and that was to take our initial order. Would have loved to order another drink or two and/or dessert but to be honest, the service was just non-existent. Won't be returning.
