Absolutely appalling service.
The one star is just so that I can post the comment. I'd give Courier Post zero if I could.
How are you clowns still in business, I’ve been lied to all day about delivery times and still waiting on the package at 5.53pm tonight that I needed and was assured would be delivered early this afternoon.
Your service is appalling to say the least.
One star is too many !! No accountability, massive wait times for the phone to be answered, they "do not guarantee delivery" they "do not guarantee phone back times" they blame the sender and staff are rude and have not been trained to acknowledge customer concerns or apologise. So not sure why anyone would pay them for anything - let along delivering a parcel! Shocking every time - please use another company.
I don't know why people have a beef with them, everything I've received all good. They could update their tracking app at a more often and step wise basis.
Terrible service - this is the second parcel that I have booked for pick up via Trademe in 2 weeks and upon calling in the first day because it hadn't been picked up, I was assured it would be picked up "tomorrow". The next day it was still there so I called again. Turns out the job was sent to the wrong courier (unsure how as it is all automatic via Trademe and my address is quite easy and clear). When asked how I can stop this happening again because I run a business and timeliness is important the woman suggested I call a few hours after booking to ensure the job has gone to the right courier. Lady are you kidding me!? I run a business and work fulltime and do not have time for that!! In all fairness, the phone service I received was pleasant, just the useless system/couriers.
So often packages are not delivered even when we are home, or it's the wrong address. Poor service and not worth recommending - the Vodafone of courier services.
Courier post has done it again! The excuse of 'no access' into apartments is being used to cover up for some of their lazy couriers. I've been waiting at home the entire day and just got an email/text that a delivery was attempted but there was no access. To be fair, I've had a couple of good couriers from them who bothered to ring the intercom and I always show my appreciation to these good ones. But until they sort out which of their couriers are giving them a bad name, this issue will continue to plague them. I suggest doing a check on the individual courier's track record and penalising them (or even purging them from the company). Reputation is difficult to build up and if customer service is not the priority, the customers will always be on the losing end. After all, it's sort of a monopoly and there's nothing the customer can do except pray. Good luck to my next parcel!
Disappointed. They just left a card and ask to collect from the office. They should knock the door to make attention rather than calm and leave tracking card on doors. It's for not only me, for everyone. Sometimes delivered to wrong address
Really nice driver called today to drop of a parcel , rang the bell had a bot of chat .. great guy ..Good Experience
It is very disappointing that the courier did not try the intercom system (with clear instructions) at the apartment entrance and simply reported that there is no access to the building. I wasn't expecting them to come up to my door but at least ring so that I can come down to pick it up. There is also a loading bay right outside the apartment entrance so stopping would not be an issue. We had also provided our mobile numbers in case something like this happens. We wasted an entire day just sitting at home waiting for the package to arrive and will now rather pick up the package ourselves once its sorted out because the earliest re-delivery is on Monday (it's Thursday today). A quick check on Google shows that I'm not the only one who is staying at an apartment who had this issue. I hope they train their couriers to put in more effort when doing their jobs and not take the easy way out. We know it is a tough job but have also made special arrangements to take time off work to wait. My advice to those staying in apartment is to send the package to a NZ post retailer near your home. At least you'll be able to pick it up and not let 'no access' be an excuse. If any consolation, the lady at the hotline was friendly and understanding, and helped with my request for the package to stay where it is until I pick it up. We'll see how that works out this weekend at the depot though. Not sure if they will get it sorted out at this rate.
Packages have so far waited 9 days to be picked up.
Sent 2 emails and received no reply.
Called up and was told they would be picked up on the same day - still had nobody pick them up.
Operator had no idea why but that she would find out what happened ad let me know, but never got back to me.
Called again and new operator had no info of the last call but has promised again to have them picked up today.
Never had a problem with Courier Post before
But this has not been worth the stress.
Terrible service. Item sent on overnight courier took 7 days to get to me. I had to call 4 times to check what the story was - Staff said the parcel "must have been forgotten" by the driver, as there were no notes to show what had happened. I asked to collect from the depot instead as I needed the item, and was advised that wasn't possible as the driver had the parcel with him.. But for some reason (which nobody is able to explain to me) he took a week to deliver it. Parcel was then dropped on my doorstep on day 7 and left there, even though it was a signature required parcel. Useless.
Dreadful. We live in an apartment which I can appreciate can sometimes be trickier than delivering to a house, except there are clear instructions on the outside of the building as to how to ring the intercom to reach our apartment. Multiple times when someone has been home we receive "you weren't home" emails, as if the driver saw it was an apartment block and just didn't bother to even try. Yet somehow PBT couriers and the pizza delivery people always are able to reach our apartment with no trouble.
It's just shocking how bad the delivery service is. Absolutely shocking. I don't think we've ever had a single successful delivery to our apartment by courier post, each one requires a cross-town trek to Kaiwharawhara.
