A nice local bar with a selection of South American themed dishes alongside mainstream offerings including Pizzas. A Tapas selection with a glass of wine is a cost effective light meal.

Dileeeeeshious food, bit pricey, 2 people worked their way through 5 dishes ($50). Atmosphere is chill as and staff were awesome as.

Wonderful staff, who go out of their way to make you feel a welcome and valued guest. I have witnessed the respect and understanding of the staff that has been given to people with disabilities, and the way special needs have been met.
Well done. The most comfortable dinning experience I have had in years.

Been back to Cortado the last 2 times I visited Christchurch and both times were amazing. Great wine selection and the tapas were bang on. Highly recommend the quesadilla

Great atmosphere. Extra friendly waitress who made our 1st evening here a wonderful experience. Food was tasty. We shall definitely visit again. Cheers!!

Nice place but she try to cheat I'm not idiot! Happy hour, I order two beer and she give me the bill normal price( but is it happy hour?) And she has corrected the price Bye bye

My First Table experience in this place is disappointing. I was looking forward to celebrate my birthday dinner with my boys but all come home dissappointed .. my son ordered beef cheek, my husband and I ordered NZ groper ..well what do you expect for 50% discount?? so I was told!! We didn't bother to order dessert coz we might get disappointed again thinking with 50% off what will we get? We might as well eat ice cream at home. I had high expectation for Cortado as the food looks so appealing and sumptuous in their website. Are all the restaurants in First Table Christchuch will be the same? Dine 22Feb.17

We always have the tapas when we visit. Its great food and good sized portions. The place always has quite a lively atmosphere, perhaps not somewhere for a quiet meal. Its popular both as a bar and a restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Thank you Cortado for the fabulous catering for our daughter's 21st Birthday lunch. Everyone commented on how delicious the dishes were, tasty, health and plenty of it. You were extremely accommodating and helpful. You definitely get 5 stars for your food and service. We will also be back into dine again real soon.
