we arrived early at cloudy bay as we are travelling around south island we thought it would be better to be early to avoid the crowds,
such a good idea we arrived at 10 am while the staff were preparing for the day making everything look perfect as they were not quiet ready we had a stroll around the garden to the back
wow what a perfect view ,we enjoyed this just as much as the wine tasting anyway all the wine was fantastic we came away with a case .
it was that good 🍷

Fantastic experience doing the normal $10 wine tasting. We were told it could be a bit snobbish but that wasn't our impression at all. The swings and ability to walk around outside in between tasting glasses made it our favorite winery to visit

Great vineyard for winetasting
They will charge you to taste, but refundable upon purchase.
You can chill out the back and drink wine.

It is a good place to taste different vines.
I like the atmosphere and friendly staffs there. They are always enthusiastic and trying their best to provide you all information about different vines. It is one of the best place in Blenheim.

Okey wines but not the best. No organic grapes. Needs to use less sulfur. Sauvignon blanc from 2005 smelled sulfur/old egg for first 10 min.

This vineyard has the nicest setting we saw in Blenheim (we visited 11). Just got a glass of our favourite wine, admired the amazing views, whilst chilling in the egg shaped tree swings . . . bliss

Excellent wine tasty and with food and a great walk around the vines meant I had a good time exploring Cloudy Bay. Gorgeous setting if you overlook the corporate feel of some parts of the vineyard.

Perfect setting and a very easy 20 minute drive from Picton. Great tasting wines and a small selection of food to accompany your wine whilst sitting outside.

Did a $10 wine tasting here. The wines are nice. A pleasant feature were the seating in the surrounds and a few activities to keep the children entertained.
