This is a very pretty place with a cozy room for wine tasting. You choose six wines from their rather extensive list, have a seat by a window overlooking the vines, and your flight is brought to your table. I love tasting wine this way; you can go at your own pace and discuss them freely with your companions. You'll probably be saying nice things because the wine here is very good; we bought at least two bottles.
Malbec and the Pinot are great. Love this place. Wish I could've spent more time here. Becky was SO welcoming. Answered all of our questions. We left with so much more knowledge on wine. Had to go back here (after visiting a handful of other wineries) because there's is the best. Save your time just buy a bottle after tasting 😊
Lovely quaint winery, family run, with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Come here for a wine tasting on a good day and relax outdoors in the beanbags. Beth's bubbles got our top pick as something unique and refreshing!
Not only is this the best wine I've had but the customer service and response is exceptional. I ordered online and within 3 days (after the earthquake in Kaikoura) my delivery arrived. It was in perfect condition and now my Christmas shopping is complete. Amazing work team!
Beautiful spot and home of the Forrest Estate Grape Ride aka Cycle Race. Awesome selection of wine too.
The Doctors' whites (Sauvignon Blanc 2013, Riesling 2012) are fantastic (5/5). The Beth bubbly is quite interesting. Very nice Petit Manseng 2013. The Tatty Bogler Otago Pinot Noir 2010 was terrible - quite possibly corked (1/5). The John Forrest Collection Southern Valleys Brancott Pinot Noir 2010 feels very young: high tanins, leathery (3/5). Lovely, relaxing garden.
