Used to love this place when i was up there. Great Reisling and Sav. Good service also.

Not the prettiest dining room in the region, nor the best wines, but the seafood chowder was fantastic and we'd come back just to have that. There are other places we'd pick first if we were only tasting wine; but for a meal this place is great.

If you want to feel judged and uneducated, this is the place for you! Went in for a wine tasting and the older lady that was working (I want to say her name was Virginia) was extremely rude. Who cares how nice the venue was or how good the wine was, she made us feel unwelcome. Don't waste your time here. Go to Forrest or geisen instead :)

It's difficult to find good chips in NZ, these were fantastic. These lightly battered chips are as good as they can be. Also had a great homemade burger with plenty of wine.

Our taster was personable and knowledgeable, we had the opportunity to sample just about every wine before settling on a bottle, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Well done.
