Its a nice cozy clean motel close to the shops & a bus stop right there. Also easy access to the motorways.

Strange layout but nice tv/ channels. Lots of "warning signs" around such as the cost of every item that needs replaced or was stolen. Plus a request for a large deposit it not paying by credit card.

Asian guy who was spos to check me into my room was just plain rude, i made booking online with credit card, the room was paid and when i got there he asked me for a $200 bond! He already had my credit card details, then he asks me questions like "Why did you pick this hotel" and "what made you come to this one" The room was for 3 guest, Myself my partner and my 5year old son. He says to me "How old is your son please dont let him damage the room" WTF??? What kind of sh#t is that??
I got my refund and left i was lucky to get a room up the road from this one! I don't recommend this place to anyone. He's either just racist or hates islander people like myself! I rate no stars for this motel!!!response / report this review -

My husband rang to book a room as we are visiting Auckland for the night to see a sick friend. We have never stayed here before and the guy on the phone accused him of stealing a TV and hung up. After thinking he got it wrong he rung back a few times and someone else answered. Tried to ask him what he was talking about, abused him, said he was ringing the police and hung up. Let me add again WE HAVE NEVER STAYED HERE BEFORE. What a terrible way to run a business. Perhaps whoever answers the phone does not realise that there is more than one person in New Zealand with the same name. Terrible behaviour. Would never set foot in this place and would highy recommend the staff/owner/management get a quick training on customer service cause there is none. I have just read the reveiws and seems to me that this is not the first time PAYING customers have encountered rude behaviour.
