Stayed in the motel at the back and paid $130 for the night. Excellent value for a small apartment. Friendly lady and unit was very clean

This is probably one the nicest B&B's on the South Island. If you have the opportunity to stay here you will not be disappointed. Lisa and her husband are fabulous hosts, the water front view is excellent, and the rooms are clean and modern. I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling in the area or needing a place to stay to catch the ferry to and from Stewart Island (the ferry landing is a few blocks down the street).
