Took visiting family to dinner and were disappointed with the overall atmosphere. It was incredibly noisy. Meals were very expensive and most did not include a salad or vegetables. Seasonal vegetables that were included with steak consisted of a few asparagus spears which was okay if you liked them. I would have thought a few carrots and/or broccoli might have been included. Salad and vegetables were an extra side order. The chips that were served with my fish were warm and soggy. Service was good. This was not my first time there but I might look elsewhere next time.

Absolutely fantastic. Great service & attention to detail. My coffee was the best ever found in North Island. Compliments to chef. Good job!

Will not be going back. Shocking service from the older waitress. She was very rude. No one appreciated her 'humour'. The food was boring and not worth the price charged and the menu is very small. For the prices charged they need to step up their service and food. Will not be recommend them.

Beautiful location, food I ate I honestly can say was comparable to a packet ready meal of 'pasta n sauce'. Still left hungry too. Such a waste of money!

Wonderful lunch and atmosphere for 70th birthday on Saturday. The private room was a added bonus and staff were brilliant! Thank You BlueBiyou !

Such an amazing setting, has so much potential. Have tried breakfast twice. Coffee is excellent, attempts at service far better than elsewhere in Papamoa. Food is just ok, limited options on menu. Small portions but big price. Long wait time for food but it wasn't busy. Left wanting more. Wish it was better.

This place is fine for drinks but don't make the mistake of ordering food. It was an almost humorous experience having multiple wait staff incapable of finding us a table in an almost empty venue. We finally managed to order truffle fries and garlic bread after around 30 mins of being sent from empty table to empty table About 8 wedges came out which tasted bland but the crowning dish was the garlic bread which consisted of dry toast with what looked like canned garlic cloves on the side. Thankfully we got lucky and didn't order any mains. If you have functioning taste buds you'll avoid this place.

Visited this "restaurant" tonight with my family, service was disgusting: wasted 30 minutes "waiting" for table in an near empty venue, only to be told once we ordered our drinks that we weren't allowed to sit at a table if we weren't eating dinner (which I informed the waiter of when we arrived), and would have to move outside. We then had to re-order our drinks at the bar (happy hour was now over by a few minutes and the bar tender refused to acknowledge that we had ordered drinks over 15 minutes ago and told to pay full price). We also ordered truffle&parmesan wedges and the garlic bread to share- what a joke! Not only did we receive a total of 10 wedges in the serving between the 6 of us, but the garlic bread came out as literally slices of bread with soft garlic cloves on the side. No point coming here, service was shocking, prices are ridiculous and food is disgraceful. You're better off buying fish and chips from old mate up the road and sitting on the beach far away from this establishment.
