Great hotel close to Johnsonville and very convenient for Picton Ferry. Bed getting a bit old but everything else ticked all the boxes.

Bloody excellent. Room was great - everything from bedding linen to shower was high quality and spotless. Service, spot on and location perfect for an early ferry sailing.

Had a nice stay here in a suite like room with 3 beds, for 117 USD for one night in April.

The kitchen was well stocked as was the bathroom. Enjoyed the courtesy tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Nice to have an elevator which not everywhere in NZ does. Very good strength free WiFi.

Two areas definitely could have used improvement, though. The bathroom was in need of a good scrub (it was clean enough for use of course but traces of previous occupant's hair remained, there was also a little mildew on the ceiling). The temperature was also cold and we used the space heater right next to the bed. Since we were not sure how safe it was to use overnight, we were a little on the chilly side.

Thank you for the stay that I and my family had on the night of 18th July. The motel was very good and easy to get at and everything was fine apart from the shower in the bathroom.
I had recently had had a hip replacement and as there was no support in the shower compartment to hold on to nor on the wall to help get out of the bath, I was unable to use either facility. I am sure there must be other people who have had similar difficulties in getting out of either the bath or the shower.
I have been to other motels in which have had the same problems which may be only very minor to some people, but it was a disappointment to me as I shower every day.

The hosts were wonderful, so friendly and very helpful. We had a 2 bedroom unit which was very spacious, modern and well equipped. Shops are only a short walk away. The motorway noise was intrusive, but only with the windows open. Overall quite pleased with our stay.
