Motel managers make your stay private. Rooms and bedding clean and accommodating for an affordable stay.
Beds are hard. Laundry cinsists of 1 wasing mashine that costs 10.00 for one wash and dry. Not worth it
Loved the hot tub. Nice spacious rooms.
NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
Disgusting, dust everywhere, on the headboard, on the phone, under the tv etc a lot of spider webs, smoke alarm detector without battery in it and even fell off the ceiling. Walls are very thin and could hear the neighbors, made it hard to sleep. We could feel the springs from the mattress and so didn't have a good sleep. There was 1 socket downstairs, in the kitchen, nothing by the couch or table to plug in the fan, computer etc and only 1 in the bedroom. The WiFi is free but doesn't always work :( there is black mould everywhere in the bathroom, around the windows, on the walls there is ONE socket for the fridge AND the microwave so you have to unplug the fridge if you want to heat your dinner up.
By far the worse place I stayed in. For $470 for 2 nights you'd expect much better than that!
It smells like piss and the shower flooded the floors blocked drains disgusting
15 Dollar breakfast was 1 piece of bacon 1 egg and I piece of toast all served cold. 10 dollar corn flacks. had to ask for milk
We had a really really good experience. We stayed there for 2 days and were visiting Rotorua for the first time. Ryan (receptionist ) was very friendly and polite. When he found out that it was out first visit and we did not know what to do, he helped us a lot and gave us a really helpful guidance.
The room was clean and tidy. If I will visit Rotorua again then I will stay at Aywon Motel again. I also highly recommend to others.
One of the cheapest hotels in the area but by no means lacking in any way. The facilities were clean and modern, the wifi was fast, and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely knowledgeable about local activities. His suggestions helped us save a fair bit of money in Rotorua while still seeing everything that we wanted to see.
