We had an amazing day with Around the Basin Bike Tours. The bikes were perfect and staff were amazing, they couldn't do enough for us. We loved the scenery and felt like we were on the set of a Lord of the Rings movie ! The vineyards were great and finishing off at Mt Rosa vineyard with a mulled wine and then getting a life back (which we needed after visiting all those the vineyards) was a perfect end to a perfect day. I would highly recommend it to everyone.Thanks Lisa and Steve

We had such an amazing time on the Bike the Wineries tour. Being on the trail with your bike is such a refreshing way to explore the BEAUTIFUL scenery! Definitely recommend this on your next trip. Tip: Gibbston Valley Cheesery is the perfect spot to refuel! Thanks to Steve and his very entertaining commentary! Hope to be back soon:)

We did the Full Day Winery Bike Tour and it was a highlight of our trip to Queenstown. The staff was excellent, and to be honest, the bike path was a little more challenging than I thought it would be. Once we got to the wineries, Gibbston Valley Cheesery and Peregrine Winery were definitely favorites. The ride is so beautiful and enjoyable - this is a must do if you're in Queenstown!

Our experience was a fantastic combination of exercise, sun, and wine. All the vineyards had excellent wine, and the prep/bus ride were very well planned and efficient. The rowdiness of the returning bus ride was the best.

Thank you for a great day out guys. We did the full day bike the wineries from Arrowtown to Gibbston valley and we loved it. We were picked up in town and dropped off at Arrowtown where Steve was very helpful and pointed us in the right direction. The views were beautiful along the way and the wineries were great. Definitely worth getting the shuttle back as the wine flowed a little too easily so thank you Lisa for getting us home safely. Lovely people, great day, highly recommend.

Wanted to take the advertised 1pm shuttle to Arrowtown and bike back to Queenstown, but were told that it'd take a full day to cycle the trip. Tried to get us to take an alternative that was a similar distance. Just interested in pushing a shuttle they already had people booked on I guess. Bikes on show had seen better days!!

The cycle along the Queenstown Trails from Arrowtown to Queenstown blow my mind.

Staff were very knowledgeable and were correct when saying this was a stunning ride. The river gorges, swing bridges, wildlife and views were out of this world. There service from the start was outstanding! My driver (a true Kiwi) had great knowledge of the local surroundings and even pointed me in the right direction for a perfect coffee before my ride.

The bike I was given was very well maintained, brakes were very responsive and gears changed smoothly. The Trails are very well maintained and there's plenty of signage pointing your in the right direction.

This cycle is a must when visiting Queenstown.

Thanks to the team at Around The Basin for letting me see Queenstown and Arrowtown the most scenic way :)

We went on a half day bike tour, got dropped off in Arrowtown, followed the Arrow River all the way into Gibbston Valley. Mountains, bridges, water, bushpaths, a few steeps but overall very doable for different fitness levels. Really easy to find the route - and Around the Basin drops you off and picks you up, easy!

What a great place to hire bikes from. They are so accommodating, friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to ensure we were happy and all our needs were met.
