What a most wonderful place,not many places left where there is piece and quiet, skiing in winter, walking in the mountains hut to hut and having fabulous food, wine, beer and brilliant service, absolute perfection

I don't know witch adjectives to use for this lodge. But I can tell you a bit about mine expierience. Me and my boyfriend arrived so late and we were the last customers at the restaurant even so they were welcoming, our waitetress from germany is a amazing girl. To concluse, I've lost my ring there and they sent it to me and even asked if I was better at my cough (I had a hard cold when I stayed in there). Not to mention about the place with the beautiful view. So the less thing that I can do, is to recomended you all this place.

Well run beautiful Lodge right next to Nelson Lakes national park. Good restaurant. Backpacker quarters austere but clean.

Very nice and clean rooms in a lovely area next to the sea. Nice maisonette style apartments a bit old fashioned. Unfortunately no kitchen inside but in the backpacker accommodation next door.
