Lava Glass Blowing Studio

  We were quite unsure whether we should visit the Lava Glass Blowing. Finally we decided to both visit the Glass Garden and the Studio and both were really worth it. In the garden are some great art works! The studio is very interesting because you can watch them creating the glass items and learn about the hole process.

  Great place to visit very disappointed with their necklaces paid 100 and showed them that the finding was not silver and had worn terribly in just 6 months.. They said interesting and did nothing more for 100 I had expected silver.. Very disappointing

  Beautiful work from some seriously talented artists, so totally worth the visit and really mind blowing, let alone glass blowing, great outdoor landscaping concepts

  Sculpture gardens are magnificent.. glass blowing studio where you can sit and watch them make and blow their own pieces then there's the cafe which has really good coffee and delicious slices and a breakfast/lunch board.

  Awesome! It took me 13 years living in Taupo before I got there, but it's amazing and well worth a visit for any age group, the glass blowing display is cool and the garden is a real surprise.

  Definitely interesting to visit the glass blowing display. Glass products are beautiful to look at but really expensive. Understandably so given cost of production.

  Have always been my favourite place to go. So relaxing and calming to see all the artwork. The glass master was so friendly and approachable. Even better than their actual front staff. Been here at least 5 times and only get to meet the master on the last visit. Only if I have money. Will love to decorate my place with Huka Falls collection. #hukafallslover#

  So lovely. Wonderful food in the cafe, glass blowing demonstration was fantastic, sculpture garden beautiful. Helpful staff. Bought a few small but spectacular pieces that were shipped (for free) back to Australia for me. Highly recommended.

  Though cafe is expensive the glass blowing and the display garden is simply amazing. While trying to have a minimalist life now we love bringing visitors here to see the creative works and the gardens. Thank you for your talent displays.

  The cafe was expensive but the glass products were fabulous. We watched the glass blowing and loved the garden with the glass art displayed beautifully. Would recommend a visit but you could blow a lot of dosh in no time at all!!
