Food is average you'll get in any Indian place. If you need a box to carry over your leftover foods, you'll have to pay $1 extra. I've never seen something like that before in Auckland.

The second time I went I ordered my food hot but when it came it was medium/mild

Ordered a la carte. No mention of a lunch special was made. Tiny portions arrived, questioned and was told rudely that our group ordered the lunch special hence the small size. Disaster of a lunch. Not serving alcohol until 5. Slow service, 4 drinking glasses placed for 8 people had to request more multiple times. Toilets a hazard.. nightmare.

I ordered out the Lamb Biryani and while a little pricey, I was given a lot of quantity and it was very pleasant to the taste - very fragrant rice, juicy lamb as well.
The pappadom was great as well!
The tandoori chicken pieces were OK - nothing special.
Standard Indian cuisine - It was my first time there and i enjoyed my food.
Worth checking out if you want a good Indian feed in Ellerslie - quiet restaurant, with a nice bar.

Super delicious food, and very helpful, knowledgable staff. We had a really enjoyable evening. The only point of difference was we all thought our dinner was the best!! =)

Absolutely love the service here! They are so friendly, and the food is great plus it's all consistent as well. They don't have off nights with either.
