Crazy busy on a Saturday night, pretty cramped in there. Only tried a couple things due to being vegan and the menu being pretty heavy on the meat but the tofu dishes were pretty tasty.

Delicious food. It is much better to visit as part of a largish group as the mains are large and you want to try a variety of dishes. Personal favourites are Black Chilli Chicken, Beans with mince and olives, Maggi prawns, and Peking duck. Bookings are generally necessary but not too far in advance. The only improvement in my mind would be to use free range meats, but thar is a personal preference.

Best Chinese food this side of China,Taiwanese to be exact,a place everyone should try,i promise you this,you won't be disappointed in the quality od their food. It's where bus loads of Mainland Chinese and Taiwanese people go when they your Auckland. I went every Saturday night for 5years,until I moved to Perth,but it's my go to for incredible meals. Not the flashest place,but once you try the food,it will soon become your favourite go to place,and like me,the decor will be simply, insignificant. It pays to book as well,enjoy. ☺

Canton cafe is a no frills dine out serving consistently delicious Asian cuisine. Some of our favourites are Special Black Chilli King prawn (shell off), Chicken in Sar Cha sauce, Beef with ginger and spring onions, Crispy noodles with chicken and vegetables and many more. It is an extremely popular place and especially good for large groups due to the quantity per dish making it economical. It can get quite noisy when full but that's a part of its charm.

Tasty Chinese cuisine. Sea food is fresh and delicious. Portions are large and sufficient for 2 persons. Definitely deserves a visit.

Price is reasonable with a great amount of food.
The roast duck (2 dished) are very tasty and satisfying. Good for share with 5-6 people.
There's a fried crab dish only listed on Chinese menu. It is also highly recommended.response / report this review
