My 13 yo son & I had the most amazing travel experience at Milford Sound - thanks to Anthony, Tom & team at Air Milford for making it all happen. Our scenic flight was cancelled due to inclement weather but they accommodated us the next day with their wet weather option. We're very grateful as we're in Queenstown only for 3 days & the scenic flight was our main highlight. Their warm & exceptional service, flexibility & above all commitment to safety are unparalled!! Far exceeded our expectations - a huge thank you for the magical experience!!

Absolute must-fly with them. Pleasant crew and safe flights. Had the privilege of sitting at the rearmost seat (the pilot decides the seating plan, based on something) and it was probably the best seats in the 'house'. Beware though, bad weather might lead to cancellations, but the staff will call for a weather check in the morning.

I booked Air Milford as a surprise for my husband a few weeks ago and WOW! We had such a spectacular day. Everything was perfect. From the welcome, Mary & Anthony gave us, to flight with Alex into Milford, the cruise and the flight home again. Breathtaking. I have been to Milford a few times, but flying in and out is even extra special. To make it even better (if that's possible), the flight options proved to be the best choice as the road to Milford was closed due to avalanche risk. There was only a handful of us in Milford sound as we went on the cruise. Now, you may think I'm making this up, but to add some extra icing on the cake - we saw a pod of dolphins! The team at Air Milford are professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable and I would highly recommend them as your option to fly to Milford. A must do for everyone's bucket list.

We flew with them from Queenstown to Milford Sound, then did the nature cruise.

Both the flights there and back ad well as the cruise were breathtaking. Worth every cent.

Pilots, service and and crew in the boat were great.

The nature cruise brings you up close to some amazing waterfalls. Be prepared to get a little wet if you stand outside. However they do provide rain jackets.

Our original Scenic Milford Sound Flight had to be cancelled due to the bad weather at Milford Sound, so we were offered an alternative route. We flew to Te Anau Downs and drove in a bus till Milford Sound. While this wasn't quite as exciting as a direct flight over Milford Sound, atleast we got to cover a few good spots on the scenic drive.

Our pilot did an excellent job, letting some of the guests copilot and enjoy the views. He was very helpful and guided us well about the journey. I would recommend taking the backmost seats on the flight as there is plenty of leg space and clearer views.
The bus trip was superb as our very knowledgeable driver described in detail the various sights on the way and even stopped for photos.

While the actual destination Milford Sound wasn't quite as exciting as the journey, but overall if one has to travel there, then I'd recommend Air Milford. They're thoroughly professional and do a great job.
