Excellent service! The specialist was knowledgeable and easily identified the nature of the ant infestation. The problem was mitigated considerably by the next day, and pretty much solved within the week. Warranty makes us feel confident about the service because we know we'll have access to additional treatments if needed.

Owen has always been our pest controller over the last few years. He has done the ant extermination for our own house and our rental property last year and we haven’t seen the ants inside the house since. He is very professional, informative and knows very well what he is doing. Highly recommended!

This is a follow-up review after a couple of months. Owen definitely got rid of all the cockies completely, and I am delighted about that. However, while most of the ants disappeared from the kitchen, it seems that they simply moved on to the living room. So while Owen is an absolute font of knowledge about his subject, and is a good technician, I was disappointed with the follow-up.

In my previous review, I said that "I have used a number of pest control experts over recent years, and it becomes obvious which guys know exactly what they are doing, and take a lot of care to get the job done right. Owen is one of those. If you want your ant and cockies taken care of in Auckland, don't mess about trying to do it yourself (as I did unsuccessfully), just pick up the phone and call Owen. I cannot thank him enough for doing an expert job. Highly recommended. TOP."' Once the ants re-surfaced a couple of weeks later, I tried to contact him a few times, sent photos etc. But eventually I gave up as he didn't seem interested, and I have used a competitor instead. I have attached photos showing the ants swarming around the additional bate which was needed.

Paid up front and he elimated the ants, protected us from flys and spray the garden for mozzies. I have used 3 other firms and they did not do as good a job as Owen. We use ACEs regulary now.

Paid in full upfront but got a job half done! Owen from Aces came and set bait traps and informed me that if any rats died in the loft before trying to escape he would come back and remove the dead rat free of charge. There is a terrible smell now coming from the loft so I called Owen to come and remove what was obviously a dead rat. I have received a few excuses (such as ladders being broken), he has never turned up to complete the job and now my calls and text messages are being ignored.

Thank you so much to Owen from Aces Pest Control, for getting rid of the rats in our roof space. Owen arrived promptly and on time. He was very friendly and helpful. He gave us advice on where the rats where accessing the roof space and we also purchase rat bait tunnels from him, to be used outside. We would highly recommend this service and call on Owen again, if needed.
