Good budget hotel..great hospitality..good ambience..very helpful staff.Stayed with my family and were made to feel at home.It is situated at a very convenient distance from Phewa lake with great view.
i really recommend you to be there if you are planning to visit pokhara.

Stayed here in April. Peaceful place to get away from the usual backpacker hotels. Wonderful staff. Feels like home. Housekeeping impeccable. Definitely recommended for folks who want to relax and get away from the usual hustle and bustle on lakeside.

I had a great time in vardan resort, it feels like I was in my home. I felt very safe in vardan's earthquake resistance cottage. Any one who are visiting to Pokhara must once stay in vardan resort. It is home away from home. Thank you vardan resort for your warm hospitality and service. I'll definitely be back to you when ever I'll be in Pokhara.

This is an oasis that goes out of their way to serve it's guests. I love the homes which are designed after various Nepal ethnic groups which live in the mountains. They are lovely and cozy and very peaceful. The staff were all fantastic and the gardens are beautiful. One great thing about Vardan is that after the overhead expenses of maintaining the oasis are met, the profit goes to helping mountain children receive a excellent education and to provide them with clean uniforms, food and all the essential things to have a better life. I saw these children firsthand as they helped feed the earthquake victims in the local hospital. I came to help the earthquake victims at the epicenter and the owner of the hotel was already spending lots of his own money going to the epicenter and helping thousands. He is a wonderful man with a heart of gold. Speaking of earthquakes, the hotel was built to withstand significant quakes. The owner designed the building as single story buildings with wooden roofs instead of heavy concrete. Also he had extra support structures installed to protect the building from significant damage. It's the only place I will stay if I am in Pokhara. I love this place and the staff !

Spend all my fortunes to meet you in the lonely planet!

All my dear Vardan Resort friends, tonight is my last chance to enjoy the harmonious circumstance here. Thanks for all your efforts to fulfill my life and forgive me if I don’t want to leave. I've seen better day. But I've also seen worse. I don't have everything that I want, but I do have all I need. I woke up with some aches and pains, but I woke up. My life may not be perfect, but I feel blessed when I first time steped in, the smiling face and greeting from the owner ,the special gift they made(candy on my pillow, free and best Nepali tea ,asked guide to open the door early morning just because I practiced yoga).And because of their social cause, I will volunteer in Girls College. My new journey will start soon, what I can do is that I will spread this responsible and positive attitude.Even when you’re struggling, even when you’re discouraged, you still will meet some people ,like I meet in Vardan Resort to make you change your perspective, feel worthy in this lonely planet.
