Very friendly staff, hotel manager Mr saroj pudasaini very helpful.good food, amazing hot shower. I have been this hotel since long time. Surely recomend this hotel for all. Feel like home way from home.

Is not that I want to bring a bad name for this hotel, I don't know about the private rooms but the dorms are messy, there are cockroaches on the mats, lots of mosquitoes, one toilet is miserably dirty, the WiFi was no working and no fan in the rooms, on top of that not regular personnel for cleaning the room which smells very bad. For the 3 dollars minimum we should have a clean area.

Location is good to enjoy purple haze rock bar and Vegan restaurants. Room was clean and amenities were available. 1 bathroom flip -flop would have been better. Just a suggestion!

The only thing good about this hotel is location, the heart of thamel. Apart from this, everything is shady. We booked our room from booking.com. The room is far from what is being presented in the photos. The sheets had stains. The towel was the worst, seems it hadn't been washed for ages. The cable in the Tv was not working. No water bottles. No fan. The toilet was meh. Overall a very bad experience. They might have better rooms which they provide to the foreigners. But being local, we feel they scamed us good. I wouldn't recommend this place. But if you are in hurry, make sure to check the room and other facilities before making payent. PS message to the owner, avoid scamming local people. I wonder how this place has such a good rating. Thanks

This is a wonderful hostel. They helped me plan my treks, stored my bag for me, even helped get my laundry done, checked in on be while i was trekking, got me a good deal on a flight, and gave me great info on buses. Could not be any better. The dorm was very comfortable too and a great price. Stay here!

The location is really great, the staff and especially Dhana is really helpful, they can provide you all information that you need while in Nepal. The room is also big and really great for me and my friends when we stay there. Really recommended place

Had a very good time in Trekkers home. We booked our trip to Annapurna there and were really happy Dhana took care of us.
The rooftop is a very nice place to stay with a nice view over the city.

Best hotel in Thamel.
Nice place, feels like in home
They so friendly and helpful.
The room are clean even its upper room and no elevator but the hotel officers will help you.

Dhan is the guy to go to. He not only made me feel comfortable in this hotel but he helped with printing my Visa application 3 times !!! He is a very kind and generous man. The staff here always has warm smiles on their face. Always making sure you are happy. I will definitely stay here again when I come back.

Cheap and clean! Located next door to the four star ‘The Address Kathmandu Hotel’. At A$12/ night, it is great for the budget conscious! At that price, one needs to walk up the stairs to the bedrooms. Meals can be purchased from the first floor restaurant or just surrounds! Great for the young or those without much luggage!

Concierge staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, and the balcony ones offer great views of Kathmandu. Luggage storage is excellent and secure.

Great location, Great staff, clean room, good food, room price ok, but.. Neighbours have barking dogs, start barking early morning and just keep on barking!! No sleep, the dogs barked the entire 5 nites we stayed!!!!
Not recommended for light sleepers, or don't get a balcony room, because the dogs are just below these rooms, on someone's bloody rooftop!!!!
Also bed linen, botton sheets are too small to fit the beds, so they come off during the nite.
Katmandu is great place to visit & the locals are great.but not keen on their dogs!!
If the dogs were not there it would rate 4 1/2 out of 5.

A great hotel with excellent location. So convenient to go everywhere and the price is so acceptable. The manager is so friendly and helpful and you feel warm in the hotel. There are air conditioner and stable electricity (some hostel keeps power cut at night) that are important for us. Highly recommended!

The room is clean and tidy. There are air conditioner and hot shower. No any power cut. Really had a good sleep for me after having a 12-hour bus journey. Staff are super nice. The manager Dhana treated us as friends and offered us drinks. Highly recommend. I probably revisit here next year!!

The Cheapest Hotel in Kathmandu . The Rooms are well Furnished and very neat and clean. The Manager of this Hotel Mr.Dhana is such a great human being . He helped me for my trips in Pokhara also. If you are searching for a cheap hotel in kathmandu this would be the right place.

Nice budget hotel with an excellent location if you wish to discover Thamel.
The staff was very friendly and social and helpful with pointing out directions and booking busticket to other cities.
Room was clean and there was hot water in the bathroom.
They also offer wifi and a calm rooftop area with chairs and tables.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I would rate more than 5 the way they treat their customers especially the manager. I would recommend this hotel for people who are looking for longer stay and not looking for a luxurious rooms and decent room service.

Really quite pleasant. Don't expect luxury but you can get a room with ac/heating for £15 a night. Which in Thamel is about as cheap as it gets for ac equipped.
