  My friends and I wanted an adventure-packed trip to remember in Nepal and opted for tour guide Kumar Dahal after he was highly recommended to us. We were met at the airport with a warm, friendly welcome by Kumar and his driver Ram who had the itinerary sorted for us and was rearing to go!
  
  Every day in Nepal exceeded my expectations but if I had to choose highlights the following events stood out for me: 
  
  1. Sightseeing in Bhaktapur City because of the opportunity to meet local people in the bustling and lively main square, the stone sculptures, beautiful temples, and attempting to make Nepalese pottery on a traditional wooden wheel;
  
  2. An exciting day out in Chitwan, where we had a bicycle tour through the village, canoed across the lake, saw crocodiles and fabulous wildlife, had a jungle walk, a jeep safari full of elephants after dining on tasty local dishes for lunch, and visiting an elephant breeding centre; 
  
  3. And to top it all, Kumar's driver Ram invited us to his native village high in the mountains, where we greeted locals, handed out sweets to the curious children, and sampled more local food cooked by Ram's friendly mother at her farmhouse. The wider family came and we ate outside sitting on traditional mats. This was an experience I'll never forget and it was like going back in time. As the trip was unplanned, we feel we got a true taste of authentic Nepal that you won't find in a glossy brochure or package tour.
  
  No review would be complete without some special words for Kumar Dahal, our guide and now our good friend. He was vastly knowledgeable about his country, explained the culture and customs in depth, and went above and beyond his professional obligations by opening up on his personal experiences of the financial and geographical difficulties of living in Nepal. He took us to humble but superb restaurants only known to locals, as well as to the best hotspots to view the sunrise.
  
  To end our holiday, Kumar took us to a cultural dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant. Because our journeys often took place in mountainous terrain and incomplete roads, Kumar had the best driver for the job: Ram's driving in an air-conditioned jeep was second to none in safety and confidence. It was hard to say goodbye to them both and we are planning our return to Nepal already. We would never go back without choosing Kumar Dahal as our guide.

  I’m not great with reviews, but we met Kumar when my wife planned a trip for her and my mother in laws birthday in March of 2017.
  He was a fantastic guide, very courteous, we had to make a few changes and he helped us work it out.
  We had a great time on our trip to Nepal, it’s a beautiful country.
  
  Also, I don’t remember the drivers name, but he kept us safe on some of the dangerous roads, and honestly was a better driver than most people in the U.S.

  Visited Nepal with the help of Tour Guide in Nepal. Kumar gave us a lot of suggestions during planning stage. Nepal is beautiful would love to visit again in the near future.

  October 2017 - Just back from a great trip to Nepal. The country is fabulous but the guide service I received was first class and really helped enhance the whole experience. Nothing was to much trouble for Kumar and his team. They were always on call and prepared a great itinerary that really suited my needs. The price was very reasonable and definitely exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be visiting Nepal again and 100% will be using Kumar's services when I revisit. I'd recommend him to anyone thinking of visiting this great country.
