Having stayed at Khumbu Lodge for three nights, I feel compelled to comment that the hotel is excellent in every sense of the word. The rooms are clean, as are the restrooms. The food is wonderful (I highly recommend the dal-bhaat option), but perhaps the best part is the amazingly helpful and kind staff, particularly the management, who work there and treat you as if you're family. When we found it difficult to continue along our trek to Everest Base Camp, the staff were quick to sort out the situation and refer us to a guide. When we had questions concerning our flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla, which needed adjustment because the trek turned out to be shorter than expected, we received immediate assistance then as well. For all the unforeseen problems that we encountered, the management were quick and effective in helping us find a solution. To all of the staff there, thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

Hands down this is the best lodge I have come across in Namche! The staff are both friendly and very helpful with accommodating to your needs, the rooms are spacious enough and very comfortable, the beds are soft and the owner Pemba has been so helpful and informative! The cafe underneath hosts some of the best baked goods and sweets with a really relaxed and cost atmosphere. Be sure to come and check it out!! You won't be disappointed

Wonderful place, you are met with a joyful and hardworking staff; and they serve the most amazing breakfast. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THE BROWNIES!!!

P.S. I did try out other lodges and I regret my mistake, this is the best one!

Hands down the absolute best. Get Java's big breakfast, and the walnut brownies are actually the greatest brownies I have ever had across the world. DO NOT MISS OUT! Very very polite and friendly staff, great folks.
