Really good food, loved the Tibetian set with buff, especially the buff momos. Consider that the kitchen might close shortly after 9 p.m., when you plan on having a dessert better come around 8 p.m. :)

Ridiculously slow service in the restaurant. It took a full FORTY FIVE minutes to get a single order of MoMo.

Every thing is Good but at check out time check ur bill and verify from menu.
Only 3 or 4 staffs here.

Really enjoyed the food here and the look and style of the place. One wall us filled with items of information about the restaurant from it's past and the association it has with Tibet and the dalai lama it was all very interesting. The restaurant was filled with a lot of local so also a great sign of some good eating! Had the Tibetan hot pot and it was amazing real good hearty food!

Food tastes good and authentic. Provides interesting tibetan snacks. And the owner looks so nice and kind.

However the waiter's English needs some improvement and during the process of ordering, he left without noticing to arrange table for new guests which is really rude.

it is not fancy hotel. it is like home away home. utse is one of the most oldest hotel established in KTM. it is at jaytha street in thamel. very easily accessible location. it has unique aura. peaceful. they have authentic Buddhist restaurant. twice a year i stay here and every time it gives amazing experience
