An old hotel but very nice. Friendly staff, good breakfast, and quite cheap.
Located at the center of Thamel, so very close to restaurants, trekking stores, and everything you need.

Friendly staff. Quiet rooms on the backside. Decent value.

Only drawback is inconsistency with cleanliness and room amenities. For example, not all bathrooms are created equal.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms are good. Big bathroom. Really nice beds. Only the baby cockroaches were scary. But maybe that is the area, not the hotel.
Also the breakfast in the restaurant is really nice.
Dont expect luxury when you pay that less in Kathmandu

Cheap and just barely ok. Hot water is unreliable and wifi is slow. Close to heart of Thamel.

Update - I'm fairly certain that they turn the power off to save money. Power is unreliable in kathmandu but it seemed to be off a lot more than neighbouring places. Go for this place if you're a budget traveller but otherwise avoid.
