Excellent
Peaceful location in culdesac in the centre of Thamel. Garden restaurant in front, friendly helpful staff.Ive stayed here a number of times over the years and will come back again

Bathrooms were not good. They offer only one soap for a 3 people room. Wifi doesn't work properly. Also it would be injustice to expect all the goods with just 10$.

I found Hotel discovery inn, very good location. Luckily i been there with the help of the Nepalese hotel guide in Thamel street. Even center of the thamel, it is very peaceful like a country side. just walking 2oo meter out there are shopping center, Nepalese and European restaurant. It is the base of camp to discovery the kahtmandu valley. Just 15 minutes walking , local market and Kathmandu durbar squre. similarly moneky temple 4 km within 30 minutes gently walking. Just outing 7 minutes from the hotel royal place and garden of dreams.
I went Bhaktapur bus station and ride a bus for the Bhatapur touring.within walking certain distance there are facility transpiration of the Kathmandu valley. Nagarjun Hills, Phulchowki, Pharping, Khokana, bhugmati are other private day tours easily doing from the hotel. either center of the city or out of the city center this location i love and favor it. I like to give recommendation the hotel very much from my site.

i stayed 4 nights in my trip of Everest base camp. From hotel discovery inn, very near super market casino. very nice room, clean, helpful staff. room service they do very fast, well management environment. outside the hotel there are wide greenly garden.
