The hosts are very kind, so we slept in the hotel at the first and last day in Nepal. In the last day, they just give us 4 beds room with the price of twin bed room because of no hot water in twin bed room.

Awesome hotel. Perfect location, lovely room and very comfy bed, great shower and good wifi. Room service is a nice touch and the cafe downstairs has awesome food. Wouldnt stay anywhere else.

People are extremely polite and the managing staff is very courteous as well, but we kept getting nagged by them for "making too much noise" while we were simply conversing Kinda had a rather hostely connotation

You get what you buy for the cheapness but I liked it, clean rooms and friendly staff can't ask for much more. Has free drinking water and no extra cost for printing out tickets. Ideal for backpackers.

Yala Peak is very economical for travelers on a budget, without the hassle. When you dine in, the hotel does charge the VAT. In addition, they also would bring your coffee to your room - upon request. The atmosphere and the ambience is okay. I always enjoyed my Al fresco breakfast - ergo, there is a patio. The manager is quite nice and the staff speaks English.

Home away from home. Staff friendly, rooms clean & well priced. They can arrange airport pickup and drop off at standard rates, and assist with flights, trips etc. Rosemary restaurant downstairs has delicious food. Will definitely stay here again!

Clean rooms and comfy beds. Water was warm to hot and very welcome. Nice location too, not too loud but still near everything in Thamel. Staff were friendly and responsive to emails before arrival. Very impressed with Yala Peak, would return.

It is a very nice hotel in Thamel for a very good price. The owners are so friendly, you have to love them.
The Internet there is great and in the nights you (at least I) can sleep good without using Oropax, what isn't default in Thamel.
What you should know is that the water is warmed by solar, so if u take a shower in the night or before sunrise in the morning u can be sure to be awake very fast ;-)
But as soon as the sun is there u also can take a hot shower.
So all in all it's a very cool place to stay in Thamel for a low price (I had a double room for about 10€ per night) that you really can visit.

It's a nice hotel to stay. The employees in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. They offer money change service.
The hot water supply is not very stable but I think overall it still is a comfortable place to stay.
Also, the breakfast is great😃

comfort on a budget. its located in a quiet location in thamel which means you will have a quiet night sleep. its a no frills guest house with basic rooms and offers the best bang for your buck. all rooms have an attached bathroom with hot shower and free wifi though the connection was bit shaky. the rooms were clean and some rooms have a kitchen inside. so if someone wants to cook food, please specify the owner about your need and he will provide you a room with kitchen.
