Booked with Green Valley Nepal for a trek to EBC and then Island Peak. Besides the basics like none of your tea-houses are booked ahead, it depends on how much your guide wants to pocket himself and how much he wants to spend on you. My partner got sick after EBC and we had to cancel our second half to Island Peak. GVN refused to refund ANY of the money (we had to pay cash upfront), even though more than half was for food and daily accommodations not made. I understand paying guides and rental companies, but our guide Jami literally had 70% of our entire cash payment in his hand when we flew on the helicopter away and he only guided us 1/3 of the trip. Pretty disgusting to keep thousands from people sick and having to pay for medical coverage at that.

I have been trekking with Green Valley for over 3 years now. I a resident of US and it was difficult to choose a reliable trekking company during my first visit. But the team at Green Valley were very easy to cordinate from overseas and they were extremely organized. I was introduced with my guide before the trek and they helped me go over my gear and experience. They managed everything from currency exchange, getting a SIM card, and lodging. They also took care of my valuables and belongings while I was on the trek. I have now trekked EBC, three high passes, Manaslu, Naar-Phu, Annapurna, and Mustang regions with Green Valley and I would strongly recommend the company and team for a hassle free customer service and trekking experience. I would strongly suggest to take Dipak or Jomi as your guide.

Having had the pleasure last Oct to travel to Nepal Base Camp with Green Valley,I was totally overwhelmed with the level of care,commitment and personal attention to detail that I received.. .nothing was a problem. . Jami and his nephew were fantastic companions and made the trek extra special for me.Argun and his team were so efficient from word go,even when I was only considering the trip,the simplified all details and any query I had that offered outstanding advice and kept in touch regularly and efficiently.

We heartily recommend this trekking company. Their customer service was always excellent, their price was very competitive, and we had a splendid trek.

Our trek was amazing, and that was in no small part due to our excellent guide, Keshar. We became good friends with him, and we were very sad to depart at the end of our trek.

Our entire experience with Green Valley was smooth and stress-free. We would gladly do another trek with them when we have a chance.

Excellent trek company… Very professional, genuine and charismatic team members

- Before the Trek:
I contacted more than 10 trek companies and I the main reasons to choose Green Valley were (1) Excellent customer service, (2) Very competitive price and (3) Excellent reviews.
Since the first contact, Arjun rapidly answered all my questions. The communication was very efficient. After comparing its trek itinerary and price against other companies, I made the right decision to take the trek with these guys. They were well organized and provided good information on what to pack, what type of insurance I should buy and other topics. They trust their clients as we didn’t have to pay anything in advance.
As agreed, someone from the Green valley was waiting for us at the airport, they welcomed us with a flowers necklace and took us to the hotel.
The hotel was very nice and comfortable, in a very good location and with a great outdoors restaurant. We then went to their main office (5 minutes’ walk from the hotel) where they provided us with travel bags, t-shirts, sleeping bags, maps, etc. We also received some tips and instructions for the trek.

Next day, Arjun (one of the company directors) took us to the airport and helped us with the check in. Unfortunately there were flight delays that day (it is usual in flights to Lukla) and Arjun helped us deal with the airline (it is not easy to get answers from airlines if you are not a local Nepalese). He made dozens of calls to the airline and made a lot of efforts to ensure we had a flight to Lukla that day.

- During the Trek:
Mingmar, our trekking guide is one of best human beings I have met. From day one, I felt like he was part of my family. He was the best part of the trek. He took us to very good tea houses and told us interesting stories about climbers and trekkers. His porters were very friendly and smiling all the time.
This company used a different route to return to Namche from Base Camp. This made the trek more exciting as we didn’t go to all the same places on the way down. We stayed at very good tea-houses and the food was excellent.

- After the Trek:
Someone from Green Valley was waiting for us at the airport and took us to the hotel. Later that evening we met with the team members from Green Valley to celebrate our way back from Base Camp. They were very customer focused and wanted to know how our trek went and how they can improve the customer experience.

I did Everest Trek with Green valley Nepal Treks, The owner Of the Company Mr Rajendra Lamichhane -Raj helped me a lot to organize this Trek and My Guide and Porter were fantastic!! I totally Trust these guys they are professional, reliable and you would get good deal with the Price I noticed this while I mate few other Groups during my Everest Trek they had paid almost double Price for the Same Trip but the service was much poor then what I got from Green Valley. Go to Everest and choose Green Valley.

We completed Everest Base Camp Trek December 2012 to January 2013. KP was the team leader or Team 10 and it was the best trek we ever did. Green Valley Nepal Treks was recommended to me by a friend. My family and I travelled with our guide Raj (who was AMAZING!!) and two porters in December 2013. We did a four day trek visiting Tadapani, Ghorepani, and Poon Hill before returning to Nayapul.

The views were amazing and the experience was once in a lifetime. Green Valley Nepal offered us a very fair price and there were no unexpected charges along the way, as we saw happening to other trekkers.

I have done a Trekking to the Everest Base Camp with Green valley Nepal Treks on March 2013, I heartily recommended this company. Everything was really great, the guide, hotel they provide & all supporting staffs. There service was amazing I can’t rate as want from here, definitely if I come back to Nepal I will use this company & to all travelers I recommend choose this company without any doubt.
