Well, this is one of the oldest shopping mall and still maintained. Great shops and departmental stores. Prices are reasonable compared to other shopping malls .

One of the oldest mall/ bazaar of Kathmandu.
Hasn't been updated and needs renuwation.
Limited parking space near or equal to no.
Many high copy stuffs found at high price.

It is located in between Basantapur and in heart of New road. It is one of the oldest shopping mall as I know. It's ok to visit for quick shopping when you are aroud New road.

Bishal bazar is quite famous in Kathmandu. It is a good place for shopping but little bit over priced. If you are good at bargaining then you must try doing that and if you are not then this might not be the right place for you. Personally I don't have a good experience of shopping in this place.

I personally loke this sopping complex.

Bishal Bazar Company is trading infrastructure complex is one of the most favorite shopping complex of the Kathmandu . It was established in 2026 BS. Its current paid up capital is 49,140,000 and is listed in NEPSE . Its stock symbol "BBC".

This shopping complex is located at heart of Kathmandu i.e in New Road. There are altogether 379 commercial shops & godwon in this shopping complex.

The head office of this complex is located at the top floor in south east direction of the complex.

This is the oldest shopping centre in the town. It is located at New road and everyone knows about it. Mostly clothing shops are inside the building and the prices are above average. Gaming zones are also here where one can buy games for PCs, Xboxes, PlayStation, Nintendo and other consoles. Varieties of ornament shops are located within the corridor of the building.

Its a good market located in new road kathmandu, but more or less its all ran by indians can say 90 % shops ran by indians, you need to do a lot of bargain to purchase anything, this place is famous for buying replica products ( watch, perfume, purse, mobile , belt and much more everything copy not orignal , its a good time pass place

The oldest Shopping Mall in Nepal, the first time escalator (my son, when he was a child, used to call it ALiGATOR and enjoyed like a joyride) installed anywhere in the country, once upon a time "the centre of the city', 'the place to be to hang around/window shopping, "fashionable', you name it, has lagged behind the time. Because of the perennial stinking underground parking area, I have downgraded the whole facility, to only one star that too with much hesitation. Needs great deal of improvement.

Bishal Bazaar or Supermarket is a shopping complex situated at the New Road in Kathmandu, Nepal. It consists of numerous shops selling mainly electronic items. Additionally, apparels, footwear, jewelry and other consumer items are also available in the market.
There is central currency converting counter where any foreign currency can be exchanged for Nepali rupees. Card payment is not that much prevalent and generally, cash is preferred.

Located in the heart of popular market place New Road and easily accessible, having variety stores for clothing, ladies bags, travel bags etc. Prices are reasonable. Good collection to choose one.
