One of the best view point I have ever been .. actually one can see three 8000m+ mountains, Everest makalu and cho oyu from here. It would be better if we can make it on top for sunrise. Even the lakes glitter on the first sunrays.

Didnot climb up the peak but the trekk up to gokyo ri from kala patthar was spectacular

Spectacular! Very hard climb but worth it when you get the view. Go early in the morning and catch sunrise at the top if possible.

Marvelous views, take this hike easy, you are above 5,000 so, be careful and enjoy the views. You can spot the Himalayas/Everest during the sunrise and sunset. The glaciers and the lagoon nearby the Gokyo village.
Bring your hot coco, seat for a while and relax when you reach the summit.response / report this review
