Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Always stayed in the rooms facing east, never had any noise issues either from other guests or from the street. The suburban location is rather quiet overall. The only downside I can think of is that the hotel restaurant is usually closed for dinners on weekends, so you have to eat out (there is a convenient Italian-styled restaurant just next doors).
I realy liked my short stay at thon triaden. I did not spend the night, but the breakfast aerea smelled like heaven and the service was very good. Loved the coffee!
I only saw the conference rooms and social area. They were a bit worn, but functional ; the bar looked well stocked and the location is at a shopping center a bit away from oslo. Not the best location if you are without a car, but not to far from a great lot of things if you have one with you.
Very good breakfast. Good service. Beds were not comfortable. Cleaning of the rooms could have been better.
My room was the 225. It's poorly furnished "monk style" and in a big need of refreshment. Even the smell in the room is old and stinks of grandma house. My room's window was looking inside above the hotel hall. Terrible. It is difficult to understand if the room has been cleaned properly, and a simple "whith napkin test" on the floor give the answer: NO! And there are also coffee drops close to the trash bin. Next time i will choose another hotel. Staff is very kind and professional. Not worth its cost.
