Great food, great staff

I was here to celebrate my great nephew's confirmation. The weather was dry and mild, this enhanced the experience. The place was busy with many parties going on at the same time. Most women were dressed up in their traditional Norwegian outfits.
An attractive place in a beautiful setting. The interior was bright and airy. The food was great and the service was unimpeachable. I would recommend their bread which has a particularly chewy-crunchy consistency. In the basement there was a snooker table and a shuffle board. This kept some of the youngsters occupied.
There is quite a bit of parking space and an extensive amount of space for walks etc.response / report this review -

Great golfing venue with fantastic practice facilities! The course Østmork is demanding and very challenging but offers great and strategic golf-fun for all! Don't get to confident and play from the back tees..

Fantastic location and excellent catering. They make their own herbal butter and their own sourdough bread, with an amazingly crunchy crust and fluffy interior. Fruit and coffee selections are also good for corporate events. Staff is attentive and eager to please. Conference rooms are many in number but most that I saw were small. The sleeping rooms are typical but the water flows are really high in the shower and the toilets lack efficiency options. The building is a bit oddly connected internally, clearly an attempt to unify disparate buildings, and similarly in style, but filled like a hunter's cabin of game trophies. Watch your step as you can trip over the irregular thresholds. The exterior however is uniformly stylized and the grounds are expansive. Many running and walking trails to explore make it feel remote despite being close to Oslo, and curiously decorated with horse stables, golf courses, and bronze statues of game animals.

Its a beautiful place with lots of history. Its in beautiful surroundings with forest, golfcource and trails for hiking. It a perfect place for relaxing. The good is excellent and the staff is always at your service.
