Far from everything, no free bus service to airport. Decent rooms, but A/C is not adjustable so if it's too hot/cold for you, you're S.O.L. OK service. Surprise fee for double occupancy in room.
The breakfast, though, is fantastic, with a great hot breakfast buffet, variety of good bread, fancy cheeses and jams, smoothies, juices, pancakes, etc.
The hotel is not near anything expect two gas stations and two other low end hotels. There is a town about a 30 min walk away or an $8 bus ride away. There is no free shuttle to the airport, again an $8 bus ride. The staff is nice on day shift, however, their idea of customer service is different from the US, I called 7 times from my room to the front desk, no one answered, so I called from my cell to the front desk, and walked down stairs and waited in line for 5-10 min all while listening to the Phone ring off that hook in front of me and they never answered. This did not seem to phase them at all when I explained they didn't bother to answer, they simply said they wasted to provide customer service to three people in front of them The rooms have no direct climate control. Your only option is a radiator by the window which is covered by low hanging curtains. So you can not be seen by other hotel guests or you can be warm. In summer, the days are LONG, add there is no AC, the sun beams down into the room making it often above 30°C/85°F after long periods - their solution, "open the window" - no good when it's 25°C outside. The only high point in the hotel is their breakfast buffet which is one of the Best I've been to in Europe, there is something for everyone, carnivore to vegan, there is plenty for all the pickiest of eaters.
A perfect place for a night stay specially if you have a early morning flight.
Common shuttle bus run 15-30 difference based on the time of the day and it's a paid service NKR 70 per person.
Breakfast is not the best but for the price of hotel it's quit satisfying.
Don't expect much and you will be happy.
Atteneed a conference at the hotel. Seems to be one of the better alternatives for conferences in the Oslo Airport area. Great lunch too!
I was only visiting for å conference. The locales were okay, but quickly became a bit stuffy and warm. Could have used better ventilation. Otherwise nothing to complain about.
From the outside looks, the inside is a very nice surprise! Staff could have been a bit more polite upon checking, but given the time of day (1.am) and the fact that they got the job done, I'm happy. Great breakfast!
Nice size rooms, good service. Free wifi. Good service on our event.
Close to the airport, excellent conference hotel. Had lunch and enjoyed the nive food with plenty of fish and meat to choose from. Conference facileties are more than adequate and there is a huge conference section for rhe really big meetings and conferences.
The surrounding area of the hotel didn't have too much to offer in terms of a view. However, being as close to the airport and highway as it was, it was still nicely secluded. The rooms were nice, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel has a conjoined conference center which had a quite open and inviting interior.
Had to stay there because of a problem with my flight. Comfy room, clean. Big TV, great breakfast and friendly staff. Would stay there again.
