Great exhibits. I've seen many penguins in my life but I've never seen any as playful as those I've seen here.
Extremely interesting and fun, great variety though the otters could be a little less shy.
Lovely place to visit the for adults and children the amount of aquatic life to see is quite impressive and it's in a lovely scenic area too
Nice park with lots of sea life to admire from around Norway.
We also watched the diver going to feed the fish in the big tank, which was great to watch.
We also ate a good lunch here.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Bit strange the last bus in summer goes back already so early, but that is something the park can't help.
Lovely place for grown-ups and children. The sea lions are shy but you have to be patient. 2 hours visit is recommended and better on weekends.
Very nice big aquarium. Focused on the local north Atlantic sea life. Tourist friendly.
Great diversity of sea life. Well maintained.
In the smaller side compared to international sea parks, but it's integrated into the surrounding nature beautifully.
Atlantic Sea-Park (Atlanterhavsparken) is one of Scandinavia's largest saltwater aquariums and one of the best tourist attractions in Ålesund.
The exhibition area showcases marine life from all coasts of the Atlantic Ocean, particularly in the waters surrounding Norway. Species from various ocean depths are on display, including marine life from deep water habitats.
A Brilliant Aquarium which is definitely one of both best I have been too. All the water is taken from Fjords or the Sea and so the effect of the ocean is captured perfectly. There lighting conditions are also replicated so the fish feel as if they are at home. My only suggestion would be to make the Penguin pen larger. I lived in the Falklands amongst thousands of Penguins and I feel the enclosure could have been more "natural"
